Mischa Zverev Launches Foundation to Fight Diabetes
Tennis Star's Brother Shares Personal Battle with Disease

Mischa Zverev, the brother of tennis star Alexander Zverev, has launched a foundation in the city of Hamburg to raise awareness of and fight against type 1 diabetes.
Zverev was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of three and has since been administering his insulin via an insulin pen. He has spoken openly about his experiences with the disease in the past, and his foundation aims to provide support and resources to others who are living with diabetes.
"There is still a long way to go together," Zverev said. "We want to help even more children and people with diabetes to live a normal life."
The foundation's launch comes on the heels of Alexander Zverev's recent announcement that he has also been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The brothers are hoping to use their platform to raise awareness of the disease and to help others who are living with it.
